I love coming to the Whitlock Butcher. They are a great family owned business that serves the highest quality of meats. My first purchase was a set of beautiful tomahawks and then the other day I bought a beautiful bone in New York strip. My egg smoker was a little bit hot so I only smoked them for about three minutes on each side at 275° with a lot of smoke. Afterwards, I cranked it up to about 650 by opening up the vents and seared them for two minutes on each side. Yes, they cooked to a perfect medium rare but the quality of meat is absolutely outstanding. I buy meat from Kroger, Costco, Whole Foods, and Publix but no one can compare to the quality of me from this butcher shop.
